WWE Raw Predictions: Brock Lesnar Will Replace Drew McIntyre

2.) Asuka & Rhea Ripley vs. Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax [Tag Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Rhea Ripley challenged Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax to a tag team match for this week’s episode and included Asuka as her tag team partner. This may seem like a rinse and repeat of what Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair went through against Baszler and Jax in the past two months, but it seems that Ripley actually has something up her sleeve. This is essentially her debut match on Raw, so it would be puzzling to book her to lose the match.
Instead, Ripley will win this match without Asuka’s help to assert her dominance and prove why she is the next Raw Women’s Champion. Afterwards, she will probably attack Asuka and raise the title up high to signify the end of Asuka’s reign. Asuka was not even in the original plans to walk into WrestleMania 37 as the Raw Women’s Champion. Consequently, it is very likely that she will lose the title to Ripley, who needs a big WrestleMania victory after losing to Charlotte last year.

1.) Drew McIntyre vs. King Corbin [Grudge Match]
On last week’s WWE Raw, Drew McIntyre defeated Ricochet and Mustafa Ali consecutively in the same night and was unceremoniously attacked by SmackDown’s King Corbin after the match. Corbin does not have a match at WrestleMania and thereby helped Lashley attack McIntyre in order to collect the bounty for a WWE Championship opportunity. However, he will need to defeat McIntyre in their scheduled match to officially earn that opportunity.

Although this brought back ‘pleasant’ memories of the short term faction amongst McIntyre, Lashley, and Corbin in 2019 when they were feuding with The Shield, there’s no chance in hell that Corbin defeats McIntyre to take away his WWE Title opportunity. Instead, Brock Lesnar will make a surprise return and F-5 McIntyre after the match to either replace McIntyre in a dream match with Lashley or set up a triple threat match that is worthy of a ‘Mania main event.
