4.) Bayley & Carmella Will Win The Women’s Tag Team Championships

As mentioned in the introduction, the WWE already announced four teams for the tag team turmoil on WrestleMania Night 1 to determine who will battle Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the Women’s Tag Team Championships on WrestleMania Night 2. Those four teams are Naomi & Lana, Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, Riott Squad, and Natalya & Tamina. There has also been speculation that a fifth team could be added at the last minute: Carmella and Billie Kay. Carmella even talked about this possibility on The Bump last week.

During that same episode of WWE’s weekly Youtube show, she also talked about teaming with Bayley with Billie Kay as their sommelier/manager. She called their group: BayKayMella. This could work. Now that Reginald is with Baszler and Jax, Carmella can get revenge against Reginald by replacing him with Billie Kay and winning the tag team titles from Baszler and Jax. Ever since Carmella changed her gimmick from fabulous to untouchable, she has not picked up any big victories after many failed attempts to dethrone Sasha Banks, so this could be her moment to shine.

On top of that, Bayley has no scheduled match at WrestleMania. Many fans are rightfully upset about that since she carried the division on her back as SmackDown Women’s Champion for over 500 days. Reuniting her with Carmella to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships would be a pleasant swerve to revamp the tag division and appease the fans in attendance as well as the ones watching at home. If not, Bayley can always have that dream match with Michael Cole, who has not defended his streak in his infamous orange singlet since WrestleMania XXVII.

3.) The Rock Will Return To Challenge Roman Reigns

When Roman Reigns retains the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan and Edge, The Rock will return and “lay the SmackDown” on Roman Reigns to set up a future Universal Title match for next year’s WrestleMania. This isn’t a farfetched idea; The Rock was the host of WrestleMania XXVII 10 years ago and set up his match with John Cena at the following WrestleMania by screwing Cena out of the WWE Title against The Miz. The Rock won’t screw Reigns like he did Cena because Roman is family, but he will put him in his place after the match to bring a happy ending to WrestleMania.

Reigns’ retention is the best booking decision to solidify his reign of terror as SmackDown’s top heel, but it would not be a happy ending for the fans at WrestleMania. As “The People’s Champion”, The Rock would give the fans that happy ending. Not only would this be long-term booking at its finest, but the storyline speaks for itself since both men have been considered the Tribal Chief of the Samoan Dynasty. The idea here is to determine who is the Ultimate Tribal Chief, and Reigns would be forced to smell exactly what The Rock is cooking.
