The Rock is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, and The Brahma Bull established himself as a main eventer during his time in the WWE. The superstar didn’t have instant success in the wrestling circuit, but it was one of his promos that changed the landscape for The Corporate Champion.
The Rock started his journey in 1996 and became an intercontinental champion, and ended his career inside the squared circle in 2004. The People’s Champion got his first acting assignment in 1999 in a television show. He played the role of his father. It was ‘The Wrestling Show’ episode of the acclaimed ‘The ’70s show.’ The eight-time WWE Champion started his 70mm career with a documentary titled ‘Beyond The Mat’ where he played himself.
The Rock has worked in 43 movies, 18 television shows, six music videos, and two other works in the entertainment industry. The Rock is one of the busiest men in Hollywood and continually works to deliver quality movies to his fanbase. In a career spanning two decades, The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment has given some movies that have grossed well at the box office and brought great success to the franchise as well as his share in the film industry.
He is the first wrestling superstar that made a mark and paved the way for many others to follow. John Cena, Batista, The Miz, and many others followed in his footsteps and gained success, while the people before The Rock never succeeded to the same heights in film. The sixth movie of the Fast and Furious franchise enticed the fans with its sheer action and the presence of The Rock and Vin Diesel. The two are fan favorites and are experts at acting-based stunts on the big screen. The Rock and Vin Diesel performed their role to perfection and enticed fans to step out of their homes and into a movie theatre.
The movie earned $550.6 million worldwide while it earned $238.6 million in the United States. It was a hit amongst wrestling and movie fans alike due to the sheer popularity of The Rock. It proved valuable for the franchise. It wasn’t the first or the last association of The Rock with this franchise because he continually appeared and allowed the franchise to earn well at the box office.
