The Rock’s top five box office smashes on the big screen

It was the second movie in the Jumanji franchise, and just like its predecessor, considered a success. This one was an easy sell for the people involved in the production and distribution of the movie. The movie focused on The Rock’s star power as other actors were either forgotten or never looked upon by the media or the movie-goers.
The movie earned a whopping $316.8 Million in the United States and $483.4 Million worldwide. The overall box office collection of this movie was less than the original movie. It was still a significant amount at the ticket sales. It made The Rock a member of the Million Club, while the Billionaire Club at the box office was just around the corner for The Great One.
The original and first part of the Jumanji series was loved by the kids a lot, and this helped the movie earning a significant amount of $962 Million at the box office. The Rock played the role of Spencer Gilpin, who transforms into Dr. Xander “Smolder” Bravestone, an archaeologist.
The movie was entertaining to the core, and one could not even realize how the running minutes of the movie got over so quickly. It did a business of $557 Million Worldwide and $404.5 Million in the United States. The movie is the third most grossing movie of The Rock, but wait until you see the other two that grossed well at the ticket counter.
