WWE: What’s next for Bianca Belair post WrestleMania Backlash?
Ladies and gentlemen, let’s just get something straight.
It was one thing for WWE to allow Bianca Belair, the current, AND STILL, Smackdown women’s champion, to get in a feud with one of WWE’s four horsewomen.
But, it’s another thing for Bianca to be allowed to feud with a second four horsewoman– with or without her holding a title.
Yo, that’s half the squad! In a way, that says a lot from WWE.
So, when it comes to Bianca Belair vs Bayley, I say continue it. Which this feud seems likely to do anyway after Bayley expressed feeling like Bianca Belair “cheated.”
Again, continue it.
The athleticism, the promo skills, the energy and presence they both have. It’s just something about these two together. It’s gold! They need to keep this going as long as possible without WWE drawing things out too long.
Not sure how long Sasha Banks is gonna be M.I.A. But, hopefully, Sasha Banks can come back in soon and make this a triple threat feud.
By adding Sasha Banks, or adding her back (I should probably say) to the mix, you’re basically putting fire on the gasoline! Especially with Sasha’s change in attire. (Think the outfit and hair Sasha wore to this year’s WrestleMania.)
** Sniffs **
Bianca Belair vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks is definitely the future. As long as they keep this decent booking going, I don’t see how it could lose.
If anything, it’ll continue to escalate. Especially at a pay-per-view like Hell in a cell — A Pay-per-view that both Sasha Banks and Bayley already have experience with. Interestingly, it’s placed in June this year. Weird. But, Ok. That’s even better. Make it a Hell in a Cell match.
Build up Sasha Banks and Bayley’s history with that kind of stipulation match and it would also elevate Bianca Belair’s already impressive record with this company. Especially, as champ.
So, that Hell In a Cell Match would be a must-win for Bianca Belair, without question.
Bayley already has the longest reign with that title and Sasha Banks would be taking the title back off Bianca prematurely.
Don’t want Bianca looking like a placeholder, do we?
Knowing Bianca Belair’s track record with constantly delivering solid matches, she’ll be just fine.
Beyond Hell in a Cell, we’ll have to see who comes out on top at Money in the Bank. We’ll see.
