Report: Jimmy Uso arrested for DUI in Florida
Jimmy Uso, real name Jonathan Fatu, was arrested in Florida. According to TMZ Sports, Uso was pulled over on Monday night in Pensacola where he was caught driving 50 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. This occurred around 10:35 that evening when Uso ran a red light.
According to the report, the officers stated that they smelled alcohol during questioning and asked him to get out of his Dodge Charger. According to the police, Uso was swaying and admitted to consuming multiple beers before getting in the vehicle. He also allegedly failed multiple sobriety tests. His blood-alcohol level came back at .202 and .205 which is well above the Florida legal level of .08.
He was arrested on a misdemeanor DUI charge and was held with a $500 bond. There is not an update as to whether he is still being held.
This is not Jimmy Uso’s first run-in with the law over a DUI charge. Back in 2019 he was arrested twice that year, the second of which occurred in Pensacola as well. He was found not guilty of the DUI charges in that case.
Jimmy recently returned from a knee injury to join his brother Jey, in the main event angle of WWE SmackDown involving Roman Reign’s run as WWE Universal Champion. He was featured on the show as recently as this past Friday. As of this publishing, the WWE has not released a statement on this arrest.
