All Elite Wrestling continues to boost its roster. During the Wednesday edition of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that Nick Gage will be the second opponent for Chris Jericho in his quest to get back to MJF.

In the opening match, Jericho defeated Shawn Spears in a back-and-forth contest. MJF was at the commentary table and jumped up to grab the microphone. He revealed that Jericho’s second labor was already there and introduced Gage to a loud cheer from the crowd.

Nick Gage is basically a cult superhero in professional wrestling. His violent style of wrestling is a direct throwback to the deathmatch days of lore, with everything from chairs, barbwire, fire, and lighting at his disposal. With 23-years of experience, he has performed for major organizations including GCW and OPW, where he holds both organizations heavyweight titles, but also Beyond, ICW, and plenty others across the independent wrestling scene.

Gage was featured front and center in season three of Dark Side of the Ring as he was the focal point of the third episode of the season. The Ultra-Violence of Nick Gage was one of the most captivating episodes in what has already been an excellent series that dives into some of the most well-known and lesser-known stories in professional wrestling.
