According to multiple reports, Adam Page is no longer the planned opponent to face Kenny Omega at AEW All Out.

Dave Meltzer spoke on the matter in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He stated that Page will no longer be challenging Omega and that the company has decided to move in a different direction. This plays off the situation from this past week on AEW Dynamite where Page and the Dark Order lost a ten-man tag team match to the Elite. Page was pinned by Omega, losing his shot at the AEW World Heavyweight title and losing a shot at the tag team titles for the Dark Order at the same time.

This comes at a time when rumors continue to rage about AEW signing both Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. When it comes to Punk, multiple references were made to him on the show, including those by MJF and Darby Allin. The biggest of which is that the August 20th edition of AEW Rampage will come from the United Center in Chicago.

CM Punk was last seen in a WWE ring in 2014. Since then, his name is often brought up by fans as an individual that they want to return to the industry, even though he has stated that was not in his plans. Since then, he’s competed in the UFC and taken on other projects. He is a multiple-time champion, including runs with the WWE Championship, ROH, NWA, and other titles along the way.
