WWE SummerSlam 2021 event card and information

As the summer slowly comes to a close, one of the biggest annual showcases for the WWE is a few weeks away. SummerSlam is approaching on Saturday, August 21 to be held live from Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will be available via the WWE Network on the Peacock streaming service.

SummerSlam has created some of the biggest moments in WWE history. Everything such as the 1992 match between Bret Hart and The British Bulldog, the TLC match in 2000 between The Hardy Boys, Edge & Christian, and the Dudley Boyz, and many others ring true when fans think of SummerSlam. The 2021 edition should set the stage for similar moments to occur, especially with the WWE looking to ramp up its shows with fans returning to ringside.

In 2021 fans have seen the return of John Cena for the first time in more than a year as he’s made it clear that Roman Reigns is his target. Plus, Nikki A.S.H has surprised much of the wrestling community with her new “almost a superhero” character and her cash-in of the Money in the Bank briefcase to win her first major singles title.

To date, here is the planned match card for SummerSlam 2021:

  • Nikki A.S.H. versus Rhea Ripley versus Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match for the Raw Women’s World Championship.
  • Roman Reigns, with Paul Heyman, versus John Cena in a singles match for the WWE Universal Championship.
  • Bobby Lashley with MVP versus Bill Goldberg in a singles match for the WWE Championship.
  • The Usos versus the Mysterios in a tag team match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

  • Drew McIntyre versus Jinder Mahal in a singles match.
  • AJ Styles and Omos versus RK-BRO (Randy Orton and Matt Riddle) for the WWE Raw Tag Team titles
  • Eva Marie versus Alexa Bliss in a singles match

More matches will be added to this card in the coming weeks.
