3.Drew McIntyre should move to SmackDown

Nobody in the WWE has had a crazier past year and a half than Drew McIntyre. Going from what would have been a star-making moment in winning the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 36 in front of a sold-out Raymond James Stadium crowd to winning it in front of nobody in an empty warehouse.

Now back in front of fans, McIntyre should be elevated to the same level that he was prior to the pandemic hitting. His over-exposure in the WWE Title picture has really fizzled out his chances of regaining that belt on Raw. A switch to the blue brand could revitalize McIntyre as the top-tier WWE superstar and fan-favorite that he was not so long ago.

Where does he fit? Right at the top of the show as a credible challenger for Roman Reigns and the Universal Championship, is the answer. The match these two had at Survivor Series last year was one of the best of the entire year, and the two had incredible segments leading up to it.

As Reigns continues to dominate any and all challengers for the Universal Title on SmackDown, McIntyre possesses a far more credible threat than many of Reigns’ previous opponents. We saw before Survivor Series how good a program between the two could be and a long-term story on the blue brand could definitely make this a future WrestleMania main event.
