Bray Wyatt is reportedly joining All Elite Wrestling, according to Wrestling Observer Radio.

The report stated that we’ll be seeing a lot of new faces in AEW over the coming weeks and months, aside from CM Punk, and Bray Wyatt will be one of those new faces.

Wyatt’s 90-day no-compete clause is still active, so we will not be seeing ‘The Eater of Worlds’ until that expires. Whilst a deal is reportedly not been agreed and Wyatt has not put pen to paper, it is being said that people close to the situation believe it will be happening.

Bray was released by WWE the weekend of July 31st, which means if he was to make his debut for AEW, the Full Gear pay-per-view later this year would be the likely event. What character Wyatt would show up remains to be seen, but he will no doubt have plenty of creative control.

AEW would be a fresh start for Bray Wyatt

It seems like the next best step for Wyatt and his undoubtedly insanely talented mind would be given an opportunity to shine in AEW. To be honest, it is still hard to believe that Wyatt is no longer signed to WWE. He was by far one of the most gifted talents the WWE had, and it seemed at one stage that he would become the next Undertaker.

He would make an impact in AEW and can no doubt show the WWE what they are missing. AEW is going from strength to strength every single week. CM Punk debuted this past Friday on AEW Rampage: The First Dance and Bryan Danielson is rumoured to be joining the ranks. We would be looking at an incredibly stacked roster come the end of the year. What a time to be a wrestling fan and we can’t wait to see Wyatt’s next move.

The big question would be how would Wyatt’s brand of professional wrestling work within the AEW space. He’s more of a character than a wrestler, while AEW has leaned heavily on wrestling rather than sports entertainment. It will be interesting to see if his big personality would fit in a space that demands more of the talent from bell to bell.
