All Elite Wrestling has confirmed the signings of Lio Rush and Kiera Hogan. Rush’s signing was officially announced Dynamite, whereas Hogan’s signing was announced on AEW Dark.

Hogan appeared on this past week’s AEW Dark, where commentator Excalibur declared she was ‘All Elite’. Wrestling Observer Newsletter had reported that she had signed, which Excalibur confirmed on commentary on Tuesday night.

The Man of the Hour, Lio Rush, had a promo on Dynamite to confirm his signing and showcased that he was big business for AEW. Rush had retired from professional wrestling earlier this year but has now returned, following his appearance at Double or Nothing before his retirement was announced.

Kiera Hogan was a mainstay at IMPACT Wrestling and mainly competed in the women’s tag team division with her partner Tasha Steelz, but she left once her contract had expired in July to seek new opportunities.

More new but familiar faces for AEW

We’ve seen Lio Rush and Kiera Hogan perform on AEW in the past, and they’ve clearly impressed Tony Khan enough to finally be locked down on permanent contracts. They are both great talents and will have no problem finding their feet full-time with Tony Khan’s company. One thing is to be said, as the AEW roster increases, one has to wonder how long they can sustain having such a large roster. The company has over twenty stars on its women’s roster, but only a certain amount of television hours each week.

Time will tell, but it’s great to see AEW providing a home to two talents who have really caught the eye of wrestling fans over the last few years. It’ll be exciting to see just how far Lio Rush and Kiera Hogan can go.
