Masha Slamovich put on an impressive performance against Deonna Purrazzo at Knockouts Knockdown and that hard work has paid off with a new contract with IMPACT Wrestling. Fightful Select broke the news on Wednesday that Slamovich has signed a deal with the company, and Slamovich is a part of the official roster.

At 23-years of age, Slamovich was considered one of the top available wrestlers in the industry. With five years of experience, she’s found success across multiple organizations. For example, in 2021 alone she’s performed with GCW, Beyond, AEW, and NWA. She’s also held titles in GSW, VPW, and CFU along the way.

Slamovich was introduced as Mickie James’s handpicked opponent for Purrazzo after the two were hit with a no-contact clause until their match at Bound for Glory. After a 12-minute contest, Purrazzo was able to pick up the victory via submission.

Purrazzo is just one of the many top names that Slamovich has competed against recently. In September she had a match against former AEW Women’s Champion, Hikaru Shida on Dark Elevation. A few days before this news breaking, she had another big match against recent Ring of Honor signee, Trish Adora.

According to Cagematch, Slamovich’s career started in 2016 when she was trained by The Amazing Red, Chigusa Nagayo, Johnny Rodz, and Yusuke Kodama.
