Tasha Steelz has been with Impact Wrestling since May 2020 and she came in with a unique confidence that shines through whether she is in singles or tag team action. She was the first to win the re-activated Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Kiera Hogan as team ‘Fire and Flava’, and it is only the beginning for the confident superstar.

Tasha Steelz will be a superstar to watch for Impact Wrestling.

One of the most unique things about Tasha Steelz is her colorful personality. It may rub some fans the wrong way, but with what she has accomplished thus far as a tag team specialist, that personality will only continue to grow.

The first time seeing Tasha Steelz was through NWA; she had a million-dollar personality, but few matches to show it as she freelanced throughout the independent circuit. She brought unmatched energy with a sense of pride no matter what.

Some superstars know their worth no matter where they go and that’s Tasha Steelz in a nutshell. It was vital to winning some fans over early on rooting for her success. It also gave her some fans who didn’t care to see her succeed, too.

After she got signed by Impact, she formed a tag team with Kiera Hogan called “Fire N Flava”, and they won the tag team titles twice. Now, Tasha is a solid contender with the powerhouse Savannah Evans. She almost became a three-time Impact Knockouts tag team champion, but came up short against Decay.

Following Bound for Glory, the dust is settling on more big moments for the Impact Knockouts division, including Mickie James becoming Knockouts Champion and The IInspiration winning the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. With all of those big moments, having Tasha nearby could make things interesting.

The colorful superstar is different today than she was a few years back with her sporadic appearances in NWA and Ring of Honor. She has found her footing and used it as a way to not only elevate herself but also whoever teams up with her.

If she were to win the tag titles again, she would be the first and only Knockout in history to win it three times. With her being so close with such a dominant competitor by her side, it’s an elevation many tag team specialists over the years have gone through.

The list includes Bret “Hitman” Hart, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Booker T, and Bully Ray. They all had ample success as tag team competitors but shined in singles competition, eventually winning top prizes and moving beyond their tag team specialty.

She has been very comfortable in Impact Wrestling and made the promotion her home. She is a constant tag-team contender, and she fits the same mold as those great superstars mentioned because of their skills, charisma, and drive to succeed.

Tasha may not be the biggest or strongest, but that doesn’t stop her from using her speed. Her unpredictability in the ring compliments her unpredictable personality perfectly. All it takes is one moment for her to land a victory, even when momentum doesn’t seem to be on her side.

It makes for an interesting situation with a new Knockouts Champion in Mickie James, who has been notorious for giving women a shot when she holds the belt. There’s also The IInspiration, who could be fresh meat for Tasha and Savannah.

There’s a whole lot of possibilities, and amid history being made and new bars being set, it’s imperative to not forget Tasha. She has not been silent about a lot of things, but when it comes to this shift and what it means for her, she has been a little secretive about what’s next.

Tasha is the master of her own destiny and in the driver’s seat to add to her ever-growing legacy, one way or another. She may be an underrated piece of the puzzle as everyone makes claims for title shots.

Her future looks brighter than ever before with what she has already accomplished and what she can still accomplish in the next few months alone. That doesn’t even include how far she can go as a singles wrestler in the future.

Tasha will surely show fans new tricks up her sleeves and show why she gives the “flava” to Impact Wrestling. Fans will have to wait and see how Tasha plans to end the rest of 2021 and beyond as she will surely spice things up even more on Impact Wrestling.
