Impact Wrestling: Wrestle House should be an annual television event
By J.C.
When watching the inaugural Wrestle House from Impact Wrestling, the story was compelling and was a refreshing change of pace. Rosemary was the one who held the power in her pursuit for John E. Bravo and it turned everyone’s world upside down.
The powers of Impact Wrestling heard the call for a second event and presented a special Wrestle House 2. It left a strong impression that this could be an annual event with even more on the line for superstars involved in the future.
Impact Wrestling could make Wrestle House a spot for opportunity and stories.
While watching Wrestle House 2, Rosemary was leveraging the chaos for her own agenda. There were a few Wrestle House sophomores including Alisha Edwards and Johnny Swinger. They both clearly had lasting effects from being on the show previously.
Alisha seemed right at home and was clearly excited to be back, while Johnny Swinger was tortured by what happened previously. Both of these stars could be an interesting piece moving forward as Wrestle House continues.
The fact that Alisha embraces it can show her drifting in madness as a pawn in Rosemary’s game. Having Wrestle House regulars will be instrumental for a degree of continuation and long-term story-telling in a similar fashion as those familiar with the setting were comfortable versus those who tried to adjust.
Even though Wrestle House 2 was one night only, the heart was full as Havok showed a new side to herself, Chris Sabin, Kaleb with a K, and Madison Rayne showing new sides to themselves as well in this unique atmosphere.
Havok showed that even though she is a force to be reckoned with, she has a humorous side. Chris Sabin a legend in Impact Wrestling literally changed the atmosphere with his entrance. Kaleb with a K was conflicted with embracing Wrestle House as Madison Rayne had one eye on the clock for the countdown to Thanksgiving.
Even though Wrestle House ended with a happy ending for John E. Bravo and Johnny Swinger, Rosemary was in the background and not content as her scheme blew up before her eyes, but it clearly isn’t the end.
Impact Wrestling is the Wonka Chocolate Factory of professional wrestling with its variety of worlds and unique stories that provides a certain level of comfort to a fan who loves it. The harmony of cinema in Impact Wrestling has a long history going back to the ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy. They embraced it and brought a whole new meaning to compelling storylines.
Wrestle House has the chance to expand and become so much more in the future. One compelling element was brought up during an exchange with Rosemary and Madison Rayne when they brought up how a deal with the devil could be renegotiated.
That one moment really brought a new perspective of what Wrestle House could be in the future. Impact Wrestling is about unlimited possibilities and giving a chance to every competitor. Rosemary has her own objective on top of objectives for everyone involved.
This can lead to wrestlers potentially getting anything they desire and it doesn’t even have to be an Impact world title shot. It could be anything by the power of Rosemary and it could bring a whole new meaning to competing for something that they all desire.
Moving forward, this could make Wrestle House the home of opportunity for Rosemary and everyone involved in the house. It will be a great way to mix it up and determines who else benefits from staying in Wrestle House besides an enthusiastic Alisha Edwards.
Hopefully, Impact Wrestling will continue to expand and find new ways for Rosemary to trip them up and it will bring a new meaning to the now-infamous line: “As long as it takes”. The factor of temptation could make for an interesting twist to buy Rosemary time for her objective next time around.
There is no telling what will happen next time on Wrestle House, but one can hope the stakes will be raised and Wrestle House will continue to evolve and this is only the beginning with new elements in the unique and marvelous world of Impact Wrestling.
