There are a lot of fan favorites across professional wrestling with large followings in the social media space. Big Swole is such an individual. Unfortunately, the wrestling world was hit with the news that she and All Elite Wrestling have decided to part ways.

“So, I took my leap and after speaking with TK [Tony Khan] ad AEW higher officials we’ve decided to not to renew my contract with All Elite Wrestling,” Swole posted on social media. “This was a hard decision but a needed one. I am grateful for their understanding and that we could mutually come to this agreement.”

Swole, real name Aerial hull, was a vital member of the AEW women’s division. Fans frequently wanted to see her in the main event picture, but that never completely came to fruition. She played a central part in helping Britt Baker establish herself with fans, competing against Baker in a feud while the latter was injured, culminating in a Tooth and Nail Match at AEW All Out in 2020 which Swole won. Swole was prominently featured on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation, where she picked up a number of wins during her tenure.

With six years of professional experience, Swole also took part in the independent scene where she competed for major organizations like MLW, Warrior Wrestling, SHINE, and others.

“I’ve enjoyed my time with AEW and wish them all the best. I appreciate their love and welcoming me into the family,” Swole continued. “Today is my last day and as bittersweet as it is, I am proud to say that I’ve lived my dreams while making a difference. That is the Swole mentality.”

As of this writing, Tony Khan had not made a statement on social media or in the press regarding Swole’s departure.
