More details have emerged in regards to the recent health scare involving WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, Triple H.

WWE.com noted on September 8, 2021 that Triple H had undergone surgery following a cardiac event caused by a genetic heart issue.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported the the nature of his cardiac event was “very, very, very serious.”

It is understood that Triple H has yet to resume his full-time duties, but when, and if he’ll ever return full-time, has yet to be determined.

WWE Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon, recently confirmed to Alex McCarthy at TalkSPORT that her husband “was doing great.” He was also recently spotted touring the new WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT alongside some of the higher-ups in the company.

Details are also scarce at the moment in regards to The Game’s involvement with NXT 2.0. It has been noted that he has been taking phone-calls from home, but whether they involved any work-related matters has not been disclosed.

Triple H on the road to recovery

It was a scary day on September 8 when the news came in about Triple H’s cardiac event. It was totally out of the blue and unexpected, but the WWE Universe shared their love for The Cerebral Assassin and wished him the best. It appears that he is taking the right steps, by keeping his work limited and focusing on getting healthy. After all, he has a family to look after at home.

The reports that have come out recently, with the issue being serious, it is likely that Triple H’s days in the ring are over. Of course, not confirmed, but we will no doubt get a further update about his status in the coming months. Hopefully he will make the trip to Dallas for WrestleMania in some capacity.
