WWE is launching a new PPV on New Year’s Day, titled WWE Day 1. This is the first time the WWE is hosting an event on New Year’s Day, even though they’ve had other New Year’s themed events in the past. The first edition of WWE Day 1 will take place in Atlanta, Georgia from the State Farm Arena.

Storylines are still developing heading into the PPV, but there are a few matches announced for the card. As always, these cards are subject to change based on various situations and angle changes from a day-to-day, week-to-week basis. This is the current card for WWE Day 1 and will be updated as more matches are added or if changes occur:

  • Big E versus Seth Rollins versus Kevin Owens versus Bobby Lashley in a fatal four way match for the WWE Championship.
  • Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman against Brock Lesnar in a singles match for the WWE Universal Championship.
  • The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) versus The New Day (King Woods and Sir Kofi Kingston) in a tag team match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
  • Edge versus The Miz in a singles match.
  • Becky Lynch versus Liv Morgan in a singles match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship.
  • Drew McIntyre versus Madcap Moss in a singles match.

WWE Day 1 will be available for viewing on the Peacock app in the United States and streaming via the WWE Network in other areas. Tickets went on sale on August 27, and are still available for purchase.
