Shayna Baszler

Once it’s all said and done, Shayna Baszler will go down as one of the most dominant champions in NXT history. During the brand’s black & gold era, she defeated the likes of Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.

Having held the NXT Women’s Championship title twice during her stint in NXT, Baszler has a combined title reign of over 500 days.

She was poised for greatness on the main roster and was initially booked to look like a dominant force on Raw when she was called up in 2020. Not long after her debut, she feuded with Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship.

However, after her WrestleMania showdown with Big Time Becks, the former two-time NXT Women’s Champion kind of fell off the radar.

Baszler went from being featured in a high-profile match at WrestleMania 36 to forming a pretty successful tag team with Nia Jax.

While the duo would go on to win the WWE Tag Team Women’s Titles twice, this new role was a far cry from the dominant wrecking ball we’d come to know and love to hate in NXT.
