A big title match was announced for TERMINUS as Jonathan Gresham will defend the Ring of Honor Original World Title against Josh Alexander of Impact.

The match was announced on Wednesday via social media.

This is the second ROH title match added to the card as Bandido is defending his version of the ROH Championship against Baron Black. Bandido was originally supposed to face Gresham at ROH Final Battle but was pulled from the card due to COVID-19. It was there that Gresham defeated Jay Lethal to become the champion during the promotion’s final event.

Alexander is best known for his tenure with Impact Wrestling. He is a multiple-time champion in that organization, including recently becoming the Impact World Champion in October. He’s also held the Impact X-Division Championship and a two-time tag team champion with Ethan Page.

Gresham is a busy man because he also has a big ROH title defense against Chris Sabin scheduled for Impact’s Hard to Kill.

TERMINUS holds its first event on January 16 at the Kroc Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Along with the two ROH title matches mentioned, Jordynne Grace will defend her Impact Digital Media Championship against Keira Hogan. Other big names such as Moose, Jay Lethal, Lee Moriarty, JDX, and others are set to perform.
