This week’s wrestling was full of surprises. We saw Toni Storm walk out on WWE and Paul Heyman almost getting served for his service to The Tribal Chief. The entry by Brock Lesnar followed by Roman Reigns‘ sudden announcement of testing positive for Coronavirus. The fatal 5-way match at WWE Day 1 and the subsequent finish by The Beast Incarnate to be crowned as the new WWE Champion. The turn of events has raised questions on whether Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will come together for a match WrestleMania.

Let’s take a look at the wrestling rumors of this week, and you can chime in if you wish to connect with us:

Roman Reigns may have a new challenger at WrestleMania

Roman Reigns’ reign has seen a multitude of opponents, but The Tribal Chief has conquered all, and they have acknowledged Roman Reigns’ dominance. The former Shield member tested positive moments before WWE Day 1 and is ready for his next match and opponent.

Dave Meltzer of WON noted that contrary to the belief of Brock Lesnar facing Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre could be the next in line to challenge the Universal Champion. The speculation raises the stakes for the match as the two can put on a clinic between the ropes. Would you want to see Roman retain or Drew dominate?

Diversion in plans after Brock Lesnar’s sudden win

We reported through Dave Meltzer that WWE plans to make Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar a multi-match series, but things may have changed. According to Bryan Alvarez of WON and reported by WrestlingNews.co, WWE still plans to put Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns against each other at WrestleMania.

We believe it is a waste as two credible opponents like Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre will not get the moment due to this match. The two are prime contenders for the champions and should receive their moment to shine.

WWE superstars inspired to walk away from the company

One move could change the course of anything, and it looks like Toni Storm may have done just that. Sean Ross Sapp talked about it during a Fightful Q&A where he said that after her sudden walk away from the WWE by Toni Storm, WWE superstars want to walk away as the independent scene is rising.

Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and others have joined AEW while others walked into other promotions. This move has inspired currently contracted superstars to change, and one needs to see if this becomes the new norm.

Burnout caused Toni Storm to walk away

Toni Storm made news when she walked away after a match with Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks at a live event. WWE superstars constantly perform, and it impacts their health. Burnout happens in such hectic situations, and so Toni walking out due to burnout is not out of the question,

Dave Meltzer of WON stated as was reported by PWInsider that the schedule may have taken a toll on her. One must understand that such hectic and constant performance can take a toll on anyone, so walking out doesn’t seem to be a wrong decision. Your safety and mental health matter before others, and so Toni’s stand has received applause from the WWE Universe.
