TERMINUS releases event rules and full match card
TERMINUS Modern Age Grappling continues to build buzz as its first show on January 16 draws closer. The promotion announced its official rules on Tuesday, highlighting some interesting changes to what professional wrestling fans recognize as rule sets for typical matches.
- All matches must be won by pin, submission, knockout, or disqualification unless otherwise agreed upon in stipulations.
- Singles matches are 15 minutes
- Tag and multi-person matches are 15 minutes
- Championship bouts are 20 minutes
- If there are no winners, a 90-second overtime occurs. If the winner is still not determined, the result is ruled a draw
- Disqualification occurs if a wrestler earns two technical fouls, uses a foreign object, or there is outside interference
Technical Fouls include and are given at the referee’s discretion:
- Throwing an opponent over the top rope
- 10-second top rope count
- 5-count for rope and corner break
- Intentional physical contact with the referee
- Intentional low blows
- Intentional eye gouges
- Fish hooking
- Intentional hair pulling
- Spitting
- Closed punches to the fist
- 5-second count-out
- Any weapon usage will result in disqualification and expulsion from TERMINUS
The first event is scheduled for January 16 in Atlanta, Georgia. The show will be available for streaming on FiteTV. The full match card is as follows:
- Original ROH World Championship: Jonathan Gresham versus Josh Alexander
- ROH World Championship: Bandido versus Baron Black
- IMPACT Digital Media Championship: Jordynne Grace versus Kiera Hogan
- JDX versus Daniel Garcia versus Invictus Khash versus Adam Priest
- Dante Caballero & Joe Keys versus Tracy Williams & Fred Yehi
- Jay Lethal versus Lee Moriarty
- Mike Bennett versus Moose
- Liiza Hall versus Janai Kai
