Tony Khan hinted at a major surprise during AEW Dynamite and that surprise was none other than Brody King.

Penta El Zero defeated Matt Hardy in a singles match, but the action occurred afterward. He called out Malakai Black and he answered violently. Black and Penta began to battle, but Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr ran down to the ring to help. As they battered Black, he began to laugh and the lights went out again.

When they returned, Brody King stood with Black in the middle of the ring. King destroyed the three men with ease, uniting with Malakai to create the “House of Black.”

King and Black are familiar with each other. The two men are a tag team in other circuits, specifically PWG where they are the current PWG World Tag Team Champions. He’s a multiple-time tag champion across other promotions with other names in wrestling including Jacob Fatu, PCO, and Marty Scrull where they’ve picked up titles in NWA and Ring of Honor.

King had been hinted at within AEW multiple times heading into his debut on Wednesday. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select also sent out an exclusive report before Dynamite started that King was at the location.
