Sw3rve announced for TERMINUS 2 on February 24
Hot off the first TERMINUS event on January 16, the promotion is gearing up for the next show and announcing some big names. News broke on Wednesday that Sw3rve, the former WWE NXT North American Champion, is taking part in the February 24 event.
TERMINUS posted a simple, but powerful social media graphic Wednesday afternoon with an image of Sw3rve and the line “Welcome to TERMINUS.”
Formerly known as Shane Strickland and Isiah “Swerve” Scott, the newly dubbed Sw3rve was among the many individuals released by the WWE in 2021. His release was especially shocking as the entire group Hit Row, was released shortly after the WWE Draft which brought them from WWE NXT to SmackDown. Many fans were excited about their inclusion on the main roster, as they became a well-liked stable that was featured well in NXT.
Before his run in NXT, Sw3rve was a multiple-time champion across a variety of promotions. His list of accolades includes stints as the PCW ULTRA Heavyweight Champion, DEFY World Champion, EVOLVE World Champion, and MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
TERMINUS held its first event on Sunday, January 16. The showcase featured a number of well-known performers including Jonathan Gresham, Bandido, Jordynne Grace, and Kiera Hogan. The replay is available for viewing on FiteTV.
TERMINUS 2 Modern Age Grappling is set for Thursday, February 24 in Atlanta, Georgia.
