Big independent matches are being announced across the industry and news of another was revealed on Tuesday. Shane “Sw3rve” Strickland will take on Ruby Soho at Swerve’s HOUSE in April.

Set for April 16th at the Horizon Events Center in Clive, Iowa, Swerve’s House features the return of Strickland and many others.

Strickland was last seen in the WWE where he was a part of the popular group Hit Row. He obtained the NXT North American Championship in June of 2021 but was never properly utilized as that titleholder before moving up to the main roster during the 2021 WWE Draft. Unfortunately, he and the rest of Hit Row were suddenly released as several others were during the last two years.

Strickland is now making his return to the independent circuit. He was recently announced to be a part of TERMINUS 2 coming up in February.

Soho was another popular name released by WWE in 2021. She’s an important addition to the AEW women’s division and has been central to a number of stories since joining that company at AEW All Out.

Along with Swerve versus Soho, other matches have been announced for the card. The Wolves will defend their tag team titles against Prisoners of Society. Multiple other names are announced for the show, including Deonna Purrazzo, Rich Swan, Trey Miguel, Lio Rush, and others.

Tickets for Swerve’s HOUSE go on sale starting Friday, January 28 at 8 pm EST.
