WWE Raw: Elimination Chamber lineup set for next PPV

The Royal Rumble has come and gone. Two former UFC champions stood tall as Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey picked up big wins to kick off the Road to WrestleMania. That wasn’t the only situation of note heading into WWE Raw as there were plenty of matches, promos, and segments throughout the night.

The night opened with new WWE Champion, Bobby Lashley, out to celebrate his victory over Lesnar. That victory was short-lived as Lesnar made his way to the ring and demanded a rematch. That rematch wasn’t granted, but Lesnar was given a slot in the Elimination Chamber where Lashley will defend that title against five men.

Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley took on one another in the first match of the night.

ASH attempted to get the upper hand of the match using some demented tactics that were working to get Ripley off her feet. She made the mistake of slowing her momentum to call for a suplex, but Ripley turned it around to hit the Riptide to pick up the victory.

The next two segments focus on Alexa Bliss continuing her therapy, while Chad Gable and Matt Riddle have a race on scooters around the arena.

The Miz went up against Dominick Mysterio is a singles match.

This was a quick match where The Miz dodged a 619 attempt to get the advantage over Dominick. The Miz tricked the referee into ejected Rey Mysterio from the match. During the commotion, he hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Dominick to pick up the victory.

Kevin Owens and Austin Theory faced off for one of the open spots in the Elimination Chamber.

Owens was out to the early advantage, dropping Theory with a back elbow. Theory was able to fight out of the corner, landing strikes of his own before landing the rolling dropkick for a two count. Theory kept Owens in the corner until the former champion was able to fight his way out of it, dropping Theory with a big clothesline.

The two men ended up outside the ring, there Owens hit the cannonball on Theory into the barricade. Owens made the mistake of following Theory back out to the floor, where Theory bounced his head off the steel stairs.

Back from commercial and both men were back in the ring, where Owens hit a DDT. Owens knocked Theory from the top rope but missed the double-jump moonsault. Theory hit the blockbuster for a two count. Theory hit a package neck breaker on the knee but Owens kicked out again. Theory was able to kick out of a shoulder breaker after a narrow escape. Owens hit the superkick and followed up with the senton for another two count.

Theory and Owens went to the top rope, where Owens hit a package plex from the second rope, but Theory got his foot on the rope. They ended up outside the ring again, but Theory avoided the apron bomb. He caught Owens getting back in the ring to hit the ATL and pick up the victory.

Austin Theory defeated Kevin Owens via pinfall.

Dolph Ziggler took on Angelo Dawkins next in singles action.

Ziggler pounced on Dawkins at the start of the match, nearly pinning him twice. Ziggler locked in a chin lock that kept Dawkins grounded. Ziggler hit two splashes on Dawkins and mocking the bigger man who responded with a big punch to the face.

Dawkins picked up the momentum, dropping Ziggler with a suplex and a facebuster for a two count. Ziggler planted Dawkins with a DDT, but only two count. Dawkins was able to hit the Silencer and picked up the victory on Ziggler.

Angelo Dawkins defeated Dolph Ziggler via pinfall.

Matt Riddle and Chad Gable’s race came down to the wire. Gable won but Riddle ended up having to face Otis in singles action. This match was changed into an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.

Otis ran through Riddle with a shoulder block to start the match. Otis was in firm control of the match, landing body blows on Riddle before dropping him out the corner. Otis continued to wail on Riddle, dropping him again with a nasty back elbow. Riddle was forced to fall outside the ring to catch his breath.

Riddle countered the suplex attempt, only to get blasted with another shoulder block. He followed that up with a body slam and an elbow drop. Riddle fought back with a series of tight forearms, only to run into a stiff clothesline. Riddle landed a series of strikes to Otis, but he ended up taking another suplex over the head.

Riddle hit two ripcord knees to drop Otis and went for the Floating Bro, landing on Otis’s knee. Riddle went for the RKO but Otis pushed him off. He would then hit the Floating Bro again and use it to pin Otis to get the win.

Matt Riddle defeated Otis via pinfall.

Bianca Belair took on Carmella in singles action.

Belair’s power was on full display from the start of the match, tossing Carmella to the ground with ease. Carmella was able to block the third attempt, but only angered the former women’s champion. Carmella ran around the ring, luring Belair into a trap. Belair bounced back to her feet and continued to wail on Carmella.

Carmella used Belair’s tights to make her crash into the turnbuckle, using that moment to take over the match. Carmella was able to keep Belair on the ground with a rear-naked choke. Belair’s power came back into play as she quickly overpowered Carmella, hitting the KOD for the victory.

Bianca Belair defeated Carmella via pinfall.

AJ Styles took on Rey Mysterio for the final slot in the Elimination Chamber.

Things started slowing with Mysterio going for a roll-up, but Styles immediately kicked out and attempted his own pin. Styles hit a big backbreaker to slow Mysterio down. Mysterio was able to cause Styles to crash onto the apron, but Styles countered again. The two men were laid out on the floor as they continued to exchange moves.

Back from commercial with Styles locking in a chin lock on Mysterio. Mysterio hit a big DDT after Styles caught him in midair. He hit a Hurricanrana and a springboard crossbody for a two count. Styles avoided the dropkick, hitting a sliding forearm and a backbreaker for a two count.

Mysterio was able to put Styles into place for a 619 but missed. Mysterio dodged the Phenomenal Forearm. Styles rolled into the Styles Clash but Mysterio avoided that too. Styles blocked the Hurricanrana from the top, but Mysterio countered the Styles Clash. Mysterio would hit the 619 on Styles but missed the Frog Splash.

Styles hit a big Pele Kick and went for a powerbomb that Mysterio avoided again. Mysterio went up top to hit the seated senton, but Styles rolled through into the Styles Clash to pick up the win.
