Brian Kendrick is no longer appearing on AEW Dynamite.

When his appearance was first announced, many were intrigued at Kendrick making the leap from WWE to take on Jon Moxley at AEW Dynamite. However, several racist and problematic video clips of Kendrick began to reappear on social media. In many of these videos and audio clips, Kendrick expressed his belief in conspiracy theories based on antisemitic claims and more.

Tony Khan, president, and CEO of AEW spoke about the matter on social media.

“We’ve been made aware of abhorrent and offensive comments made in the past by Brian Kendrick. There’s no room in AEW for the views expressed by Brian. We think it’s best for all that Brian be pulled from tonight’s card as we gather more info. We’ll announce a replacement bout ASAP.”

This was a surprising move on the behalf of AEW, as many of these comments were captured in videos some more than ten years old.

At the time of this post, a replacement has not been announced for the match with Moxley.
