WWE WrestleMania 38! This PPV is almost one month away. Although there are plenty of contrived storylines that might be built for this event, there are some potential show-stealing matches on this card that could be thrilling to watch. The following will provide full match card for night 1 of WrestleMania 38. It’s now time to preview and predict the biggest event in the year on WWE’s calendar: WWE WrestleMania 38.

WWE WrestleMania 38 Night 1 is scheduled to take place on April 2, 2022, live on WWE Network via Peacock. Here are some match card predictions.

Queen Zelina & Princess Carmella (c) vs. Aliyah & Xia Li [Women’s Tag Team Championships]

Queen Zelina and Princess Carmella will defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against the only other tag team in the division: Aliyah & Xia Li. Ever since Aliyah has been feuding with Natalya on SmackDown, Xia Li has been running to the ring to save Aliyah from Natalya’s post-match attacks. Henceforth, it can be assumed that they are forming a potential babyface tag team that can be a considerable threat to Queen Zelina and Princess Carmella. Since Zelina and Carmella have been entertaining with these meaningless belts, it’s best to just to keep the titles on them.

Prediction: Queen Zelina & Princess Carmella

Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. Los Lotharios vs. Viking Raiders [SmackDown Tag Team Championships]

Usos will defend the SmackDown Tag Team Championships in a fatal four way ladder match against the only other three relevant tag teams in the division: The New Day, Los Lotharios, and Viking Raiders. Usos retained the titles against The New Day at Day 1 and will retain the titles against the Viking Raiders at Elimination Chamber. Usos cannot battle Los Lotharios one on one at Mania due to the lack of babyface-heel dynamics. Henceforth, WWE will just book all four teams here and book New Day to win as a consolation prize for Big E’s WWE Title loss in January.

Prediction: The New Day

Damian Priest (c) vs. Austin Theory [U.S. Championship]

Damian Priest will defend the United States Championship against Austin Theory because Vince McMahon has been building up Theory for an opportunity on Raw lately with these peculiar backstage segments. Clearly, Theory is nowhere close to earning a world title opportunity or being considered for a spot in the main event scene. Henceforth, Mr. McMahon will likely award Theory with a mid card title opportunity. Theory will prove himself to Mr. McMahon by dethroning Priest to become the new U.S. Champion at the grandest stage of them all. Expect the unexpected.

Prediction: Austin Theory

Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin [Grudge Match]

Drew McIntyre will battle Happy Corbin after he defeats Madcap Moss to avenge the attack at Day 1, He will not only defeat Corbin but he will also be the first superstar in WWE history to kick out of the End of Days. McIntyre needs this win in front of the fans to get back into the world title picture with the likes of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Although he missed the opportunity for a huge pop when he won the WWE Championship at Mania 36, he can still get a huge pop for kicking the head off of the most annoying and boring superstar on SmackDown.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Bobby Lashley vs. Omos [Grudge Match]

Bobby Lashley will battle Omos after Omos destroyed Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin on Raw. Even though Hurt Business is no longer a faction, WWE tends to find a way to bring them back together after senselessly breaking them apart. Vince McMahon loves the idea of two big men slapping meat, and this match will be Lashley’s chance to redeem himself after he loses the WWE Title to Brock Lesnar inside the Elimination Chamber. It can be argued that Omos needs the win more, but he is nowhere ready to defeat someone as established as Lashley just yet.

Prediction: Bobby Lashley

Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey [SmackDown Women’s Championship]

Charlotte Flair is already scheduled to defend SmackDown Women’s Title against Ronda Rousey, who won the Royal Rumble this year. It seems that the WWE is more focused on building up Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey for both belts in the near future. Henceforth, Rousey will dethrone Charlotte to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. As Rousey said, Charlotte is not special… she’s just first. Rousey’s Rumble victory will be solidified with this championship victory and she will go on a tear until she meets Becky Lynch again at WrestleMania 39.

Prediction: Ronda Rousey
