The WWE picked up a highly touted prospect as news broke Friday that Rok-C has signed with the promotion.

Booker T, who is one of the names credited with training Rok-C, confirmed the news while speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.

“One of my girls, Rok-C, WWE just signed her,” Booker T said to Helwani. “She was my youngest champion in Reality of Wrestling. Started with me in fantasy camp. She was 13 years old – her dream was to be the Reality of Wrestling Champion.”

Booker T’s promotion, Reality of Wrestling, also had another big signing in recent days as AQA was signed to AEW after her match with Jade Cargill.

At just 20-years old and with four years of professional experience, Rok-C is a name that fans should keep a very close eye on as she enters the WWE’s system. Mainstream fans may not be too aware of her performances to date, but those that follow the independent scene are very familiar with her talent and capabilities in the ring.

Rok-C held the Ring of Honor Women’s Championship for 119 days. She won the title defeating Miranda Alize in the ROH Women’s Tournament Final finals. During that run, she beat a lot of prominent names in women’s wrestling including Trish Adora, Willow, Holidead, and Kenzie Page. Her title run came to an end at the hands of Deonna Purrazzo at IMPACT Wrestling in a title versus title match back in January.

Rok-C caught a lot of attention during her 2020-2021 run as a professional. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked her number 28 in its 2021 list of top women’s wrestlers.

WWE has yet to confirm the signing.

Rok-C is the type of performer that fits in with WWE’s “type” of performer. She’s exceptionally talented and given time, she has the potential to be one of the best workers on the roster. If they take the expected WWE NXT route, it will be interesting to see how she’s utilized. At one time, WWE NXT had arguably the best women’s roster in the industry, but that has shifted as WWE changed its booking focus for the show, specifically with women. Still, Rok-C has all the tools to excel in this space.

Next. AQA is an excellent addition to the AEW Women's Division. dark
