Jeff Hardy says the quiet part out loud during an interview, confirming his intentions to come to AEW in the near future

Since his departure from WWE in late 2021, Jeff Hardy’s future has been a hot topic for wrestling fans and outlets. His ninety-day non-compete would end on March 9th, and many fans are clamoring for the opportunity to see him unite with his brother in AEW.

As is the nature of the non-compete, the Hardy brothers had only hinted and teased their intentions for after March 9th, three days after AEW’s next pay-per-view, Revolution. However, in an interview with Youtuber Jared Myers, Jeff Hardy appears to have confirmed those intentions.

“I’m going to AEW. It’s so exciting. I’m so nervous and excited.”

Jeff Hardy would be an exciting and quality addition to the AEW roster

Hardy has been a quality wrestler almost everywhere he has signed, from his early career in WWE to his time in Impact Wrestling helping build Matt Hardy’s insane cinematic vision. His career highlights have made him a mainstream name that would add even further legitimacy to the AEW roster with non-wrestling fans. His veteran experience could also be used to help train the extremely talented young stars on the AEW roster.

The potential matchups that Tony Khan and company could book would be just as exciting. Reuniting the Hardy Brothers could produce dream matches with the Young Bucks, FTR, the Lucha Brothers, and even Jurrasic Express. Jeff Hardy by himself would be a highlight machine, putting on phenomenal matches with Sammy Guevera, Kenny Omega, Rey Fenix, Christian Cage, Jay Lethal, Dante Martin, Shane Strickland, Keith Lee, and, of course, Darby Allin.
