We are back at the 2300 Arena for Impact Wrestling. It will be a buffet of strange and wonderful matches, including a rematch from The Bullet Club and The Motor City Machine Guns.

The Impact Wrestling recap shows Josh Alexander almost throwing Moose off a balcony. Later that week, Moose invaded Destiny Wrestling Ontario and speared Josh’s wife.

Alex slams Scott D’Amore into the wall looking for Moose. He wants to end it tonight. Instead he has a match with Madman Fulton (who tried to stop Alex from throwing Moose off a balcony). Scott offers to strip Moose of the title for reckless spearing of another man’s wife, but Alex says he needs to take it from him.

 Jonathan Gresham vs. Kenny King

Gresham grabs the mic and states that he joined Impact Wrestling to show them the way of Honor. He challenges Eddie Edwards at Rebellion because Eddie lost his way.

Kenny King is disgusted that Gresham is such a sell out.

The match starts with Gresham’s patented tie ups and tech work. King gets in some cheap slaps. King hits a spinning plancha before Gresham gets po’ed and starts going for the dropkicks and chops. King hits a tiger driver and a full nelson suplex before Gresham hits a figure four on him. Kenny King does not tap out so Gresham does a variation of the figure four which becomes a 3 count pin.

Winner: Jonathan Gresham

Review: 2.75/5 Jonathan Gresham played a good face in this match and Kenny King did an honorable job in the ring.

Backstage: Alex Shelley mocks Jay White for not understanding how a 3-count works. He says it will be easy for him and Sabin to beat them again.

Backstage: Deonna Purrazzo is with Gia at the Impact Wrestling interview area. Deonna says she is pushing the boundaries of the champ champ challenge. She will have a mystery opponent at the Multiverse of Matches.

Note: Every other promo is for the Multiverse of Matches, which is a Fite TV exclusive. The Good Brothers will be facing The Briscoes, Chris Sabin will face Jay White, and Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona will face Nick Aldis and Mickie James. It sounds like an awesome show.

Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice vs. The Good Brothers

Johnny Swinger states that he is opening a challenge to some chumps in the back to fight Zicky Dice. The Good Brothers come out. The match lasts less than a minute with The Good Brothers hitting a Magic Killer on Zicky.

Winner: The Good Brothers

Review: 2/5 This made The Good Brothers look good after their string of losses to VBD.

Backstage: Gia Miller asks Doc Gallows why he took the challenge from Johnny Swinger. Doc says that he is going to plow through the 8 tag teams at Rebellion and get revenge on Honor No More for interrupting their match.

PCO starts screaming for Jonah to come out in the parking lot. Jonah answers him with a chair to the head. They both start brawling. Jonah hits a power bomb on PCO, but he stands back up. Finally, PCO puts Jonah’s head between the door of a truck and slams it repeatedly. Jonah is down and PCO starts shoveling gravel on him.

Didn’t Jonah say that he was done with PCO? Hmmm.

Madman Fulton vs. Josh Alexander

Madman goes for the big boot when the bell rings, but Josh hits his iconic suplexes. Fulton gets in a little offense and tries his chokeslam finisher, but Josh slaps on the ankle lock. Fulton taps out, but Josh continues to hold on. Ace Austin tries to come to Fulton’s aid, but Josh scares him off. Finally, Fulton tries to attack Josh from behind, but Josh holds the ankle lock and snaps Fulton’s ankle. Ace Austin is seen leaving his friend behind.

Winner: Josh Alexander

Review: 3/5 This short and sweet match showed how Josh is turning into a monster.

Backstage: Trey Miguel tells Mike Bailey not to trust Ace Austin in their triple threat match at Rebellion.

In the back lot of the Impact Wrestling arena: Mickie James says that Chelsea Green was like a sister to her and she was stabbed in the back.

Backstage: Gia tries to interview Chelsea Green in her dressing room. Chelsea says Mickie James was treating her like a puppet, but at the Multiverse of Matches she and her husband will face Nick Aldis and Mickie James for revenge.

The Knockouts Battle Royale

Ten knockouts are in the ring: Rosemary, Havok, Jessie McKay, Savannah Evans, Alisha Edwards, Jordyn Grace, Giselle, Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood and Lady Frost. Tasha Steelz is doing guest commentary. The winner of this battle will be #1 contender for the Knockouts Title at Rebellion.

Jessie McKay is about to get eliminated but Kaleb accidentally catches her and puts her back in the ring, much to the displeasure of Madison and Tenille.

Rosemary, Giselle, and Lady Frost are the final three in the match. Giselle thinks she eliminated Frost, but she held onto the ropes. Rosemary gets Giselle and Frost on the apron and pushes them off.

Winner: Rosemary

Review: 2.5/5 It was a wonky finish between Frost, Rosemary, and Giselle, but I am so glad it worked out for Rosemary.

Recap: Black Taurus defeated Deaner in the BTI match before the taping started

Promo: Violent By Design says they put The Good Brothers through a symphony of chaos and now they are setting their sights on Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus)

Aiden Prince vs. Bhupinder Gujjar

Brian Myers is going to do guest commentary, which means that WT Morrisey will try to power bomb him through a table.

Aiden gets thrown out of the ring several times. He tries to leave the match, but Bhupinder attacks him on the entrance way. Gujjar manhandles Prince for most of the match, but Prince gets in some torturous offense near the end. After Prince misses a 450 splash, Bhupinder hits the corner spear for the win.

Winner: Bhupinder Gujjar

Review: 2.5/5 Bhupinder is a fun wrestler to watch and I hope he has a strong PPV match.

As predicted, WT Morrisey comes out and is looking to slam Myers through a table. Myers is able to escape, so Morrisey power bombs Aiden Prince through the table.

Masha Slamovich vs. Abby Jane

This match was less than 30 seconds. Abby Jane was the fresh faced jobber with a bright smile and Masha finished her off in three moves.

Winner: Masha Slamovich

Review: 1/5 Still no storyline for Masha. She needs a rivalry.

Next week Impact Wrestling will have a segment called Impact Providential Wrestling Federation, which is like a callback to the territories.

Jay White and Chris Bey (The Bullet Club) vs. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley (The Motor City Machine Guns)

I was worried that the Gresham/King match was going to be the only match with strong wrestling in it. This rematch was better than the first one. Sabin and Shelley looked fluid with their team up moves. Jay and Chris stayed strong breaking up their pin attempts and answering back with ring clearing splashes. In the final moments, Jay tried to hit The Switchblade on Shelley multiple times, Shelley escaped, but that put him into the position to eat a Finesse Cutter from Bey. Bullet Club gets the win.

Winner: Jay White and Chris Bey

Review: 3.5/5 An intense match that dwarfed all the other matches tonight. It is so good to see Impact Wrestling stars with intense matches.
