WWE Raw After Mania Predictions: Cody Rhodes Will Deliver A Pipebomb

WWE Raw will be undeniable this week because Cody Rhodes returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and will be wrestling full-time on the road to WrestleMania Backlash. In this week’s episode, there are two scheduled segments: World Champion Roman Reigns will address the WWE Universe and Cody Rhodes will make his anticipated return to Raw. Also, in terms of scheduled matches, Veer will make his in-ring Raw debut with his repackaged character.

With that being addressed, it’s now time to preview and predict what will actually occur on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on April 4, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT live on the USA Network. Here are some predictions for this week’s show.

Roman Reigns will address the WWE Universe on Raw tonight after dethroning Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania to become both the WWE Champion and Universal Champion. There are three possible opponents who could interrupt Roman’s promo: Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.

They are all babyface, main event-caliber superstars who earned singles victories at WrestleMania and thereby have the credibility and momentum for a title opportunity. Bobby Lashley seems like the most likely option since he is a Raw superstar.

Cody Rhodes will make his anticipated return to Raw. It would be too early for him to get a title opportunity against Reigns. It would be best if he wins MITB and earns a title opportunity at SummerSlam this summer. In the meantime, Rhodes should feud with someone fresh on the road to WrestleMania Backlash. He should feud with a WrestleMania Main Eventer and former world champion to establish himself as a future world champion. His next opponent should be Kevin Owens, who has an incentive to battle Rhodes since he defeated his tag partner, Seth Rollins.

Veer will make his in-ring Raw debut with his repackaged character tonight. He will most likely squash a jobber to gain some momentum in the midcard. However, it is highly possible that Veer becomes a meme like Emmalina and does not debut at all.

Why? Because anything can happen in the WWE. Veer’s ceiling is most likely the United States Championship anyways, so Finn Balor will have his hands full. On this episode, there will likely be NXT call ups, like Bron Breakker, Tomasso CIampa, and LA Knight who will make their exclusive Raw debuts as well.
