WrestleMania Backlash is the next event in the stacked calendar of WWE Premium Live Events

WrestleMania has come and gone, but that does not mean the season is over. Not with WrestleMania Backlash coming a few weeks after. The WWE PPV formerly known as Backlash is heading into its second year with a new name and branding titled after the year’s premiere event.

The 2022 edition of WrestleMania Backlash is set for Sunday, May 8. The event will be held at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island, featuring the top names and angles from WWE SmackDown and WWE Monday Night Raw such as Bianca Belair, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and more.

WWE WrestleMania Backlash Event Card (subject to change):

  • Charlotte Flair versus Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
  • Cody Rhodes versus Seth “Freakin” Rollins in a singles match
  • Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro versus The Usos and Roman Reigns in a six-man tag team match
  • AJ Styles versus Edge in a singles match
  • Happy Corbin vs Madcapp Moss in a singles match
  • Bobby Lashley vs Omos, with MVP in a singles match

More matches will be added in the coming weeks as the show approaches. WWE fans will be able to watch WrestleMania Backlash live via the Peacock streaming service in the United States and via the WWE Network internationally. The event will also be available on-demand for viewers to watch after May 8.
