AEW: FTR should take the titles off from Jurassic Express
I know that they might have other plans with Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks most likely winning the AEW tag team championships at Double or Nothing because of the segment involving themselves, Jurassic Express with Christian Cage, and Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. But despite that segment, Tony Khan should keep the titles with Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus for a little bit longer so that FTR can be the next tag team champions.
Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler are number one in the rankings. They are also holding the ROH and AAA tag team titles. Hardwood and Wheeler had a match of the year candidate against the Briscoes. And five days later, Hardwood and Wheeler had another match of the year candidate when they faced the Young Bucks. The year that FTR is having right now alone shows that they should be the next tag team champions.
Why isn’t FTR challenging for AEW tag team titles at Double or Nothing?
Like I said before, AEW might have other plans with the tag team titles because on the May. 4 episode of Dynamite, Hobbs and Starks challenged Jurassic Express to a match for the titles while Jungle Boy challenged Starks for the FTW championship on the May. 11 episode of Dynamite.
Starks won that match and Lee and Strickland confronted Hobbs and Starks after the match was done. So, it looks like they are setting up Jurassic Express vs Lee and Strickland vs Hobbs and Starks at Double or Nothing since Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus watched the four other men confronting each other with Hobbs and Starks are most likely winning the tag team titles.

If that’s not the case, then FTR should be the ones to beat Jurassic Express and they should beat Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus at All Out. That was the PPV where FTR won the AEW tag team titles against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega. Hardwood and Wheeler can become the first-ever two-time AEW tag team champions at the same PPV they won the tag team titles.
