On last week’s Rampage, the Double or Nothing card was filling out. It’s now jam-packed with even more matches.

The first match added on Friday was Darby Allin vs. Kyle O’Reilly. Allin wants revenge because O’Reilly is the one who injured Sting. Allin said that if he didn’t face O’Reilly, he would interfere in all of O’Reilly’s friend’s matches. Fun fact: this is the first time they’ve ever wrestled each other.

Dan Lambert presented Scorpio Sky with a fancy new TNT Championship after Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti, and Frankie Kazarian ruined the other one. FYI: the champ has named it “Jeanie”. While they were in the ring,  a video began to play of their aforementioned nemeses at America’s Top Team’s facility where they destroyed a trophy case and took the BMF title.

This act pushed Sky over the edge and he challenged them to a mixed team match (Conti told them to invite Paige Van Zant). Sky added a stipulation: if his team wins, Guevara and Kazarian can never challenge for the TNT Championship again. This stipulation could potentially clear up the murky title picture they’re currently wading through.

The women main evented Rampage with the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Foun tournament match between Ruby Soho and Kris Statlander. It was a really great way to close the show and went 10 minutes. Following the promo that Statlander cut before the match, most of the crowd was firmly behind her. She seemed well on her way to victory with a German Suplex followed by the Big Bang Theory. Soho kicked out and countered with a roll-up for the win. It seems like much of the audience missed Soho’s kickout and booed her.

Soho cut a good promo while Britt Baker stood at the top of the ramp. This will be a rematch from Grand Slam where the former AEW Women’s World Champion defeated “The Runaway”.

Next. MJF vs. WARDLOW is the most interesting story heading into AEWDoN. dark

Double or Nothing has 12 matches on the main card and one match for The Buy In. The pre-show usually has two or three matches, so it’s possible something else could be added between now and then. Another really important note is that the pay-per-view will have four women’s matches, the first time this has happened in AEW. More of this, please.

You can tune into The Buy In this Sunday at 7 PM ET on YouTube and Bleacher/Report. The main card begins at 8 PM ET and will be available on all major providers, Bleacher/Report, and FITE (internationally).
