Seth Rollins vs. Riddle [Grudge Match]
Seth Rollins will defeat Riddle because Seth Rollins needs payback for Riddle’s RKO from the top of the ladder at WWE MITB 2022 and needs to break his notorious PPV losing streak. It can be argued that Riddle needs the win more since Rollins rubbed salt in Riddle’s wounds after Riddle lost his tag partner, Randy Orton, and lost to Roman Reigns in the Undisputed World Championship match. However, Rollins is a main event talent who should not lose to everyone on PPV. If he loses to everyone, the value of defeating an established star like him will inevitably diminish.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus [Grudge Match]
Drew McIntyre will defeat Sheamus because he needs momentum for his future title match with Roman Reigns at WWE Clash at the Castle 2022. It would be completely asinine for Sheamus to stop McIntyre in his tracks one month before his big title match. Although these two have gone to war plenty of times before, their chemistry in the ring together is so profound to the point that they continue to deliver banger after banger after banger. It will be no different at WWE SummerSlam when these two brutally attempt to kick each other’s heads off with their signature maneuvers.
