Factions hold a special place in professional wrestling. When individuals team up to form a super group, they come together like Voltron to take on any force or become the dominating force in the promotion. In All Elite Wrestling, that top group is Blackpool Combat Club. The company boasts several interesting factions, but BCC stands out as the best in the company and perhaps all of wrestling.
Just a few short years ago it would have been a crazy thought to picture a world where Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli would be in a group led by none other than William Regal. On their own, each one of these individuals is interesting enough to the AEW fan base. But the company found the perfect combination, bringing them together in a mix of beautiful violence that entertains anytime they are in the ring.
AEW could use BCC in any role and it would work for the fans
What we have in BCC is a group of men that can be champions at any moment, and then turn around to face each other for that said belt and not miss a beat. Would fans be upset with Danielson, Castagnoli, or Yuta battling Moxley for the interim AEW championship? Absolutely not. Bringing them together to fight together or each other makes the BCC a compelling group that fits into AEW in a variety of ways.
They could easily focus their combined might to carry all the belts in the company. Hopefully, Danielson can return to action sooner, rather than later, but it wouldn’t be unbelievable to see them capture all the titles AEW has to offer. On the other hand, they can continue to take on the top groups available. Moxley just picked up a win over Brody King on last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Maybe he and Malakai Black are headed to a major feud, and if that’s the case The House of Black versus Blackpool Combat Club could main event any night or show. That versatility makes them such an intriguing group that could carry any promotion in wrestling.

While CM Punk recovers from injury, Moxley stands tall atop AEW. With the other members of BCC by his side, they form the best group in all of wrestling. The groups like The Bullet Club or The Elite are not entirely out of the question, BCC would be the perfect foils to them all, setting the stage for some of the best action in the industry.
