Everything that could happen in that match did happen and it left the crowd stunned and wondering what could happen next. This includes a distraction by Karrion Kross, attempted Money in the Bank cash-in by Theory, Tyson Fury, and the debut of Solo Sikoa.

There were so many moving parts for an emotionally charged match and it led to Reigns retaining his title over McIntyre. This match has boosted the value of Roman’s title reign and it has stacked the value even higher for whoever Roman faces next.

What can be expected from Roman Reigns after WWE Clash at the Castle?

Reigns has hit an unprecedented milestone and the exclamation point was a victory over McIntyre in an atmosphere where everything was stacked against him. The jackpot prize has further increased as Reigns overcame betting odds and every emotional aspect of the match. It’s a defining moment for the roster as they look to end the reign.

Bragging rights for ending a historic title reign have been make or break and this is a pivotal moment for WWE as Roman sets his sights on a new challenger. There have been many times when a historic title reign has done this.

WWE has had lengthy title reigns, including JBL and CM Punk, but they both had different results. JBL resulted in a build-up that led to John Cena winning his first world title. CM Punk’s historic reign led to him losing to The Rock.

Two different scenarios led to different things happening and contrasting reactions based on the mission. The reason it’s so important to keep these in mind is that in WWE it can go either way. There are endless possibilities for the route that WWE can go down and the pressure is high to make zero mistakes.

This includes Theory, who has already tried to cash in a few times. And with this new direction on the WWE roster thanks to Triple H, that makes possibilities endless of who could be the next challenger. It’s a long process between now and the end of the year as superstars establish their footing with WrestleMania on their minds.

One superstar to definitely keep an eye on is Kevin Owens as Sami Zayn continues his time as an honorary member of the Bloodline. Owens has recently gone back to his roots as a prize fighter and he is a sleeper pick to be the next challenger.

Reigns started pulling Zayn’s strings before Clash at the Castle and it is sure to continue in the coming weeks. It has brought an interesting element to the rivalry that seems to never end between Owens and Zayn.

The rivalry has stirred chaos across multiple promotions over the years. Even when WWE tried to end the rivalry for good, it wasn’t enough. Adding in “The Tribal Chief” makes everything interesting and will surely instigate the already hot flame between the stars.

It’s the perfect way to cap off 2022 after Reigns has taken on some of the biggest challenges in his reign. Taking on such major and unpredictable challenges will be the perfect way to raise the stakes of his title reign higher than before.

Judgement Day must lead Rhea Ripley to title run. dark. Next
