WWE should bring an end to the SmackDown & Raw brand split

WWE’s brand split is in name only. Superstars frequently pop up on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown without any real explanation as to why. If WWE stuck to the idea of having completely different rosters, it would benefit many of the people on the roster and help build identities that would matter come Survivor Series. Yet, that’s not the case and it’s time to bring the brand split to an end entirely.

Brand split is one such idea that hasn’t had success, as many dream matches get squashed due to this. Some superstars can’t go from one brand to another, and it leaves a void for a bout between two talented superstars. This issue has led to many dream matches getting out of the way. WWE knows that fans love some quality competition, and that can happen when two superstars get the opportunity to fight each other regularly.

A storyline build-up helps the fans get invested. Some matches happen without any build-up. It leads to trouble for the superstars and the WWE Universe. Superstars don’t know what to deliver and how to deliver it. WWE has changed since the new regime took charge, but can they remove the brand split?

Triple H has shown why he is The Game, and there are chances he would get rid of this brand split. If he doesn’t do it, then there’s still a chance that he can build some stories that will give the fans a reason to be invested in the product.

Will the WWE understand that old habits can be hazardous with the changing wrestling landscape? Vince wasn’t ready to take the chance of a change, but Hunter loves to experiment, and he delivers on time.
