All Elite Wrestling has an abundance of riches when looking at the talent across this roster. Individuals like Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson are frequently listed among the best in the world. While younger performers like “Hangman” Adam Page and MJF are preparing to take their spots. But when talking about the top names in professional wrestling, do not forget to mention PAC, because he’s not forgetting to remind us that he’s among the best every time he’s in the ring.

With dropping the AEW All-Atlantic Championship to Orange Cassidy on the October 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, PAC may no longer be known as “Two-PAC,” but the run as AEW’s first double champion was enjoyable. The company had the opportunity to tell an interesting story of him struggling to pull double duty, but it’s understandable why the belt was moved to Cassidy to give him that big moment.

PAC is an intriguing name on the AEW roster. When the promotion first started, he would have been on the short list of men that many expected to hold the AEW World Championship by now. Even though he’s been involved in matches for the title, there hasn’t been a situation where he was the main threat to the champion. This is the same individual who has had some of the best matches in AEW history, including the 30-Minute Iron Man Match with Omega back on February 26, 2020. PAC is one of those individuals that can be slotted against any name in the promotion, with or without a big build, and fans know they will get something special.

Still, it’s hard to picture a scenario where PAC reaches the AEW World Championship. With individuals like MJF, Ricky Starks, Swerve, Wardlow, and others on the roster there seems to be a growing line in front of him. Especially as he continues to navigate his presence in the US and overseas. This is crazy thinking about how much talent the man from Newcastle has shown in the ring, regardless of promotion. Would fans welcome PAC as AEW World Champion? Without a doubt. But has he built up the type of presence that would allow him to generate growth as the face of the promotion? That’s a question that needs to be answered.

Regardless of what lists fans may follow and how fans vote each year, PAC is one of the best professional wrestlers in the world today. Will he reach a point in AEW where the main title is around his waist? That seems less likely as the company continues to build out its roster, but it is important to note that this man is and continues to remain one of the top names in the industry.
