Recently on AEW, Rick Ross, has been showing his presence. Not only Ross has proven that he is a talented rap artist, but he has some sort of talent in the professional wrestling industry. Ross has the mic skills of a heel manager, which is why he needs to appear on AEW more often as a consistent act.
The first time Ross appeared on AEW, he left a memorable moment during a backstage segment with Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. His phrase, “Accusations! False Accusations!” became a trend on social media for weeks. Every time Ross has shown up on AEW, he made his statement known to the fans.
Two weeks ago on Dynamite, Ross made his intentions clear on who he’s affiliated with over the Strickland and Lee rivalry. During this segment, Ross made another unintentional historic moment by saying a profane word that is prohibited to say on live television. Nonetheless, Strickland made his actions known by having his new stable members, Parker Bordeaux and Granden Goetzman, deliver a massive beatdown on Lee.
The attack on Lee at Holiday Bash led to some sort of potential with Strickland’s faction, Mogul Affiliates. Last week on Dynamite, the atmosphere of the new group was not the same without Rick Ross. With Ross making more appearances, he can spice up Mogul Affiliates with his heel persona. Ross can apply the swagger and cockiness that he successfully portrays. Although Ross has a busy schedule with his music career, there is always a chance for him to show up to not only support Mogul Affiliates but also promote any of his future projects. Who knows? Maybe AEW could promote Ross in a possible match against Lee with Mogul Affiliates in his corner.
