Iyo Sky will win this year’s MITB Ladder Match because she needs that briefcase to get back into the title picture after losing her shot to Belair. Indeed, Sky had an impeccable performance with Belair at BackLash last month in what seemed to be Belair’s best title match in her entire title run. Sky has proven since her NXT days that she belongs in the main event scene, and she continues to prove it on the main roster as she aims to break away from her Damage Control alliance with former MITB winner, Bayley, to bigger and better things as the next top babyface,

Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther vs. Matt Riddle vs. Damian Priest vs. Dominick Mysterio vs. AJ Styles vs. LA Knight vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Santos Escobar [Men’s MITB Ladder Match]

Cody Rhodes will win this year’s MITB Ladder Match because he needs to finish the story with Roman Reigns. Since Rhodes got drafted to Raw and Reigns got drafted to SmackDown, the MITB Briefcase is Rhodes’ key to getting to Reigns on SmackDown. As the Bloodline continues to crumble, Rhodes will win the MITB Briefcase, beat Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam to finish the trilogy, and cash in on Reigns at either SummerSlam, where the tribal chief storyline began, or at WrestleMania 40, a stage befitting for Reigns’ historic title reign to culminate before our very eyes.
