AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II event card and information

All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling are back at it with AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II set for June. 

Seeing competitors from separate promotions battle is a dream that All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling have turned into reality. AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II is coming and fans are already expecting this to be one of the biggest showcases of the year.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II is set for Sunday, June 25 from the Scotiabank Arena, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This event will also kick off the promotion’s planned month-long tour of Canada. Tickets for this event are selling exceptionally well, with the event nearly reaching sell-out status. Back in May, WrestleTix reported that 12,862 of the 12,972 available tickets have been distributed, with 1,659 available in resale. The PPV will be available via the Bleacher Report app in the United States and other localized streaming services.

AEW x Forbidden Door II has already booked two matches which have fans cheering in excitement. Four men that can be considered the best in the world today are already on the card. Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson from AEW, and Kazuchika Okada and Will Ospreay from NJPW. The rest of the card will be built out in the weeks to come. Matches from the Owen Hart Cup Tournament will also be at this event.

• Kenny Omega versus Will Ospreay in a singles match for the NJPW United States Heavyweight Championship
• SANADA vs Jack Perry in a singles match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
• MJF vs Hiroshi Tanahashi in a singles match for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship
• CM Punk versus Satoshi Kojima in a singles match to begin the Owen Hart Cup
• The Blackpool Combat Club, Konosuke Taskashita, and Shota Umino versus Adam Page, The Young Bucks, Eddie Kingston and Tomohiro Ishii in a ten-man tag match
• Orange Cassidy versus Daniel Garcia versus Zack Sabre Jr versus Katsuyori Shibata in a Fatal-Four way for the AEW International Championship
• Toni Storm versus Willow Nightingale in a singles match for the AEW Women’s World Championship
• Athena versus Billie Starkz in a singles match to begin the Women’s Owen Hart Cup
