Will Ospreay is going to elevate the game regardless of where he goes. WWE and AEW should make all the moves needed to bring him in.

Will Ospreay is one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the world. Ask the right people, and some will say he is the top performer in the business. His list of accolades and instant classic matches continues to grow on a near-monthly basis. Go look at the recent match he had with “Speedball” Mike Bailey as yet another example. But Ospreay is seemingly on the market and fans are wondering where he will go. While many expect him to go to All Elite Wrestling, there’s a major opportunity in both.

Five-star matches galore await in All Elite Wrestling

Ospreay in All Elite Wrestling makes all the sense. News recently broke that he hired Barry Bloom as his talent rep and this is an individual who works with several top names in AEW. Many are predicting that because of that partnership, he’s all but confirmed for the brand run by Tony Khan. And what’s not to love about that potential destination?

Ospreay versus Bryan Danielson. Ospreay versus PAC. Ospreay versus Kenny Omega III. Ospreay versus “Hangman” Adam Page. Ospreay versus Andrade. And of course, Ospreay versus MJF. Those are just some of the matches that immediately come to mind if he were to make that move. Signing Will Ospreay would be a big momentum play for AEW, especially at a time when the organization needs to find a way to generate some buzz and fill the need for another top name that can still put on stellar matches. Ospreay fits that bill and would have a lot to give to All Elite Wrestling.

Will Ospreay would be perfect for the big stage in WWE

If there’s one thing WWE does well, it makes everything feel like a big deal. There was a time when the company consistently embarrassed stars from other organizations, taking every opportunity to make a name from another look small. At least, that was the trend. The company now has three strong examples that WWE is ready to perform differently. Cody Rhodes’s return and Jade Cargill making the leap to WWE shows the company is ready to showcase stars from other companies in a positive light. Event Lexis King has raised some eyebrows of interest with how he is presented in NXT. WWE would not drop the ball with Will Ospreay.

WWE also has some big matches on the horizon if he signed with WWE. Stars such as Seth Rollins, GUNTHER, Chad Gable, Carmelo Hayes, another match against Ricochet, and even a showcase affair with Logan Paul – all those would be massive opportunities to push Ospreay to another level of stardom. Do not sleep on what WWE could offer him as a star in that brand.

Free agency in professional wrestling is a big deal. Fans already see the benefits of an improved product when companies are thriving. Will Ospreay is one of the hottest potential free agents in play and he would be big business in either WWE or AEW.
