WWE Raw Predictions: CM Punk Will BURY Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Raw is kickstarting its road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024, which is shaping up with some top candidates like the returning CM Punk and Jade Cargill to be potential Rumble winners this year.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, two matches have been officially scheduled: Bronson Reed vs. Ivar, and New Day vs. Imperium vs. Creed Bros vs. Alpha Academy vs. DIY in a Tag Team Turmoil Match to determine the number one contenders for the Judgment Day’s Undisputed Tag Titles. Also, CM Punk is set to return on Raw. Will he be the mystery opponent who answers Shinsuke Nakamura’s eerie references on Raw lately? How will this lead to his future world title match with Seth Rollins, who was visibly unhappy with his return? This will be an interesting turn of events.

In other news regarding WWE Raw, the babyface team of Cody Rhodes, Main Event Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton finally put an end to Judgment Day inside War Games. However, Judgment Day did not have all bad news, as Rhea Ripley did retain her women’s title against Zoey Stark at Survivor Series. Elsewhere in the women’s division, Tegan Nox and Natalya earned a tag title shot against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. And now that Gunther retained the title against The Miz, who could be next for the Ring General? Sami Zayn? Jey Uso? Randy Orton?

With that being said, the following will focus on the two announced matches and the idea of CM Punk burying Shinsuke Nakamura on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on November 27, 2023, live on USA, and CM Punk will BURY Shinsuke Nakamura en route to WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

CM Punk Is Back [Segment]

Shinsuke Nakamura will finally call out CM Punk after all of these teases and references. Now that Punk is coming to Raw, it’s only a matter of time. Nakamura’s eerie promos in the backstage area were actually alluding to someone “setting him free.” As many fans know, the Cult of Personality theme song by Living Colour, which is synonymous with CM Punk, has lyrics that say “only you can set me free.” Also, Nakamura even delivered the GTS to Rollins back at FastLane in October. CM Punk will 100% be there for a homecoming return victory against a game Nakamura.

Bronson Reed vs. Ivar [Grudge Match]

Bronson Reed will defeat Ivar because he is building momentum for the epic Australis show, Elimination Chamber, in February. Reed is a singles superstar who needs that solid build whilst Ivar is merely a tag guy buying time until his tag partner, Erilk, returns from injury.

Tag Team Turmoil [Tag Title #1C Match]

DIY will win the tag team turmoil to become the number one contenders for Judgment Day’s Tag Team Titles. Their reunion needs to be solidified. The time is ticking for Judgment Day to lose those tag belts. After losing at War Games, Mr. MITB Damian Priest will break away from Judgment Day and carve his own path to the main event scene. He must be frustrated, especially since he got pinned by Cody Rhodes in that War Games match. Everyone else in Judgment Day will still remain intact, as Rhea Ripley focuses on Becky Lynch on the road to the WWE Rumble 2024.
