Darby Allin, the hero
Every story needs a hero. Darby Allin is the hero who faces everyone without fear or consequences. Jon Moxley found this out. Brody King found this out . He even made it a point to conquer Mount Everest. There are a lot of kids who look up to this attitude. There are adults who dress up like him and paint their faces, also. He is building on the foundation that AEW is his only path in pro wrestling. He marches to his own beat and bleeds his way into the hearts of people who truly love All Elite Wrestling.
Darby Allin, the hardcore icon
You can break a bone, break a neck, break a wrist, and bleed buckets of blood in almost any match at any time. Are you willing to do that in the name of a company or because you can endure it? What will you do when your opponent does not quit and asks for more? Look at the eyes of Darby Allin. There is passion, pain, and a blank stare to any opponent. He will break his body and be placed through a flaming table if it means that he has your attention. He would go through a plate of glass also. He bleeds, endures, and pushes on regardless of a match's outcome. Why? This is because he has grown past being a man who barely wins. His victory is his endurance. He is Darby Allin, the hardcore icon of AEW.
Darby Allin, the evolution of being this generation's Sting
Darby Allin was mentored by Sting in AEW. The paint on his face and the pain that Darby Allin has gone through have led to Sting passing the torch to him as his natural successor. Darby Allin is a loner at times, which is what Sting was. Darby Allin endures and suffers in the face of evil, just like Sting in WCW. There is only one thing missing to seal his fate as this generation's Sting. He needs to win the AEW World Title against an opponent that is the total opposite of him: MJF. How can that happen? It can happen over the next few years, and it will make him not just a successor to Sting but a legend in AEW itself.
