2025 is less than a month old, but WWE has fired the first shot in the free agency race of the year. This week, news broke that former TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace has signed a multi-year deal with the promotion. With the Royal Rumble on February 1 expected to be her re-introduction, there are questions about where she’d fit on the roster. Let it be known, Jordynne Grace is main roster ready right now.

Yes, Grace has appeared in WWE NXT multiple times. In 2024, she appeared in five WWE matches, four of which were on the Tuesday brand. However, Grace has all the experience and abilities that make her main roster ready today.

Grace has been in the ring for 14 years, first debuting back on January 23, 2011. Since then, she’s performed in the most important promotions around the world. She’s performed in Warrior Wrestling, GCW, AAA, Pro Wrestling Eve, and of course her tenure with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling that dates back to 2018. Along the way, Grace has held 12 championships for a combined total of 15 reigns. Grace is a proven performer who has stepped into the ring with some of the best in the world, and it is time to see her on the biggest stage.

Jordynne Grace is a believable foil to the top names on both WWE SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. She’d be an excellent choice to win the Rumble and go on to face Rhea Ripley, but that idea feels like more of a long shot than a possibility. But expect her to have some great moments in the match.

Are there interesting matches for Grace in NXT? Of course. She has competed against the likes of Roxanne Perez and had an excellent match against ZARIA in 2024. She could continue that trend against the likes of Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, and others. However, while that would be fun. Grace’s place is really on the main roster.

The WWE needs to give the women’s divisions on both SmackDown and Raw as shot in the arm. Things feel stagnated as fans want more out of the champions, and the ladies that are left backstage each week. The WWE women’s division is too stacked for this to be the feeling each week. Adding Jordynne Grace to the mix and giving her a strong push would be an infusion of momentum the main roster needs. She’s perfect for the role.
