WWE NXT's usually feature a surprise of some sort and it would make all the sense to see Giulia appear to confront Roxanne Perez.

WWE NXT No Mercy is set for Sunday, September 1 from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. There’s a lot to look forward to as NXT continues to build momentum each week. Roxanne Perez continues her dominance as NXT Women’s Champion, heading into the event with a combined 246 days holding that title. But when the show ends, she will be standing across from her biggest threat to date, Giulia.

Giulia’s signing to WWE has been one of the worst-kept secrets of the year. The reports were out long before she announced her time in Japan was coming to an end. She’s officially made her last appearance in the country, and eyes are now on the United States, where the expectations are that she’s headed to WWE NXT. This upcoming PLE would be the perfect place to introduce her as the big bad that’s ready to end Perez’s reign as champion.

Perez will have to get through Jadia Parker. Parker is a talented, young performer who continues to shine in WWE NXT. While it would make sense to see her become a champion in the future, now isn’t her time. Perez will remain champion and be the top talent to face the new threats coming in after three big signings.

Perez has felt like she’s been in a holding place as fans await the arrival of Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Delta. These are three big names that WWE has locked down, strengthening their 2024 free agency actions. Meanwhile, Perez has thrived as the big bad of the women’s division. The rest of the group pushed to catch up with her, and WWE even brought in Jordynne Grace for what was a great crossover moment. But the real battles are ahead.

WWE does a great job with surprises for big NXT events. The fact that this show is an official PLE, on a Sunday night, fans should expect something big to happen or someone to appear. That someone will be none other than Giulia, finally planting her flag in what should be a strong run in NXT and beyond.
