On September 14, the UFC took its act over to the Las Vegas Sphere. It was a night packed with fights and two title changes. Fans, critics, and media personalities alike praised the promotion for the spectacle that was UFC Noche. Looking back at that show, it would be great to see professional wrestling take that stage and give fans a showcase to remember.

The Sphere is an 18,600-seat auditorium that features several high-end video and audio interactions for fans in attendance. This includes a 16K resolution LED screen, 4D physical effects, wave field synthesis technologies, and much more. UFC Noche was the first sporting event at that location and gave combat sports fans an idea of what could come. Professional wrestling should take that step, and push things further.

On Monday, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Tony Khan was looking into doing an AEW show at The Sphere. It would be interesting to see what All Elite Wrestling would do with such a venue. WWE is the partner organization with the UFC under TKO Group Holdings, so it would be interesting to learn if Triple H and Nick Khan aspire to leverage The Sphere as well. WWE continues to up the presentation value of WrestleMania each year, so imagine what a PLE would look like in a venue such as this.

Think back to some of the greatest entrances fans have seen in professional wrestling. The lighting and music displays would be increased tenfold with the technological advancements available at The Sphere. Those epic promo videos that are used to hype up matches before walkouts; think about seeing them on a screen like the one in this venue. The opportunities are endless.

Booking The Sphere comes at a hefty price tag. The UFC reportedly generated more than $20 million in revenue, but the location also cost $20 million to put on the show. Still, the production was a sight worth seeing and professional wrestling would have a field day once again in Las Vegas.
