WrestleMania is seen as the closing of the "book" for that WWE season, and these are three names that should be in line for a big push following the showcase event.

WrestleMania season is coming. The Royal Rumble kicks off the push toward the biggest annual wrestling event in the industry. That night is regularly seen as the closing of the current chapter of WWE storytelling and a kick off of what’s to come for the next year. Looking ahead to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, these are three individuals that should be in line for a major push once the WWE prepares for the night after WrestleMania and beyond.

Santos Escobar

Santos Escobar is playing the LWO angle perfectly. This is the right feud to build to a big WrestleMania match that sets up his run as an individual star, with a strong tag team at his side. Pitting Escobar, Humberto, and Angel against Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz del Toro gets the WWE a big match to feature on one of the two nights of Mania. But after that, it’s time for Escobar to get a run as a midcard champion and that United States title would look perfect around his waist. He’s a great heel character that delivers with the microphone and between the ropes. It’s time to see that push come and doing so after WrestleMania is the right timing to make it happen.

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton will hold a championship on the WWE main roster. She is too talented of a performer to not only reach that cusp, but do so multiple times. Stratton checks all the boxes for what this promotion looks for when it comes to those that are elevated in the women’s division. And she is progressing very well as a performer with only two years of experience under her belt. Seeing Stratton hit the main roster and feud with the likes of Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, Bayley and others is exactly where she needs to be coming out of WrestleMania 40.

GUNTHER

GUNTHER for WWE World Heavyweight Champion in 2024. The leader of Imperium has done all he can for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He’s elevated that title so much that it is nearly to the level of the titles held by Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Whoever comes out of WrestleMania as the main champion should have to deal with GUNTHER’s massive shadow. He needs to be the man that takes the title from them and goes on a dominant run as a top heel champion on Mondays.
